Thinking about college cheer? What would you ask?

For anyone thinking about cheering in college: CIAA announced an expanded high-school cheer exhibition on October 8, with opportunities to connect with its college cheer coaches and learn about the HBCU experience.

The exhibition is February 27, 2027, at the Baltimore Convention Center, and registration opens October 15. High-school and competition cheer teams are invited to register; full participation details are still coming.

What’s one thing you’d want a college cheer coach to explain before your first tryout?
